LUMO CAMP
A hands-on summer art and science camp in nature for participants aged 10 - 14 and 14 - 17.
Participants will build and engineer their own go-karts, develop hands-on expertise in robotics and 3D design, tackle real-world engineering challenges, attend lectures on African languages and biology, and visit partner facilities.
The week concludes with a final showcase of projects.

1.1. This offer agreement (hereinafter the "Agreement") is the official public offer of the non-profit organization AurinkoLab ry (hereinafter the "Provider") to conclude an agreement for the provision of leisure services on the terms set out below.
1.2. Acceptance of this offer is the attendance of classes and/or the payment by the Participant for the Provider's services.
1.3. A Participant (hereinafter the "Participant") is an individual who has accepted the terms of this Agreement by performing the actions specified in clause 1.2.
1.4. By attending classes, the Participant automatically agrees to all the terms of this Agreement.
2. SUBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT
2.1. The Provider undertakes to provide the Participant with leisure services in the form of group/individual classes in subjects (disciplines) — clubs, workshops, sections, etc. — and the Participant undertakes to pay for these services in the manner and on the terms set out in this Agreement.
2.2. The specific list of subjects, the class schedule, and the pricing are determined by the Provider and published on the website / in the organization's information materials.
3. PRICING AND PAYMENT
3.1. Annual membership
3.1.1. The cost of tuition for one subject is €500 per academic year (the academic year begins on 1 September).
3.1.2. Payment is made on a prepayment basis by one of the following methods: a single payment for the whole academic year or by semester (€250 per semester).
3.1.3. When paying by semester, a fee of €10 is charged for each additional invoice issued (per new invoice).
3.1.4. Payment (or payment for the relevant semester) must be made no later than the first class of the period being paid for.
3.1.5. The annual membership price is calculated for the published teaching weeks (Section 4) and already accounts for school holidays and public holidays.
3.2. Single visit
3.2.1. A single visit to an individual class of a subject without an annual membership is €20 per class and is paid before the class begins.
3.3. Discounts
3.3.1. If a single Participant attends two subjects, a discount of 30% on the second subject is provided (the discount applies to the lower-priced subject).
3.3.2. If several children from the same family attend classes, a discount of 30% on the tuition of the second child is provided.
3.3.3. The manner of applying discounts when more than one applies at the same time is determined by the Provider.
4. SCHEDULE AND HOLIDAYS
4.1. Classes are held during the published teaching weeks; the specific day of the week depends on the chosen subject. Classes are not held during the school holidays and public holidays of Espoo.
4.2. Teaching weeks of the 2026–2027 academic year:
Weeks of 2026: from 36 to 52, except week 42 (autumn break, 12–16 Oct 2026).
Weeks of 2027: from 2 to 21, except week 8 (winter break, 22–26 Feb 2027).
Christmas break: 23 Dec 2026 – 6 Jan 2027 (between weeks 52 and 1).
4.3. Public holidays on which classes are not held: Good Friday 26 Mar 2027, Easter Monday 29 Mar 2027, May Day (Vappu) 1 May 2027, Ascension Day 6 May 2027.
4.4. Special events of the year: the first Sunday of December (6 Dec 2026) — the New Year tree celebration; the last Sunday of May (30 May 2027) — the closing excursion.
4.5. The holiday schedule and any changes to the timetable are published by the Provider in advance.
5. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES
5.1. The Provider undertakes to:
Ensure that classes are held in accordance with the schedule
Provide quality leisure services
Inform Participants of changes to the schedule in good time
5.2. The Provider has the right to:
Change the class schedule with prior notice to Participants
Cancel a class for objective reasons, providing a replacement or a recalculation
5.3. The Participant undertakes to:
Pay for the services in good time
Follow the rules of conduct during classes
Inform the Provider when unable to attend classes
5.4. The Participant has the right to:
Receive services of proper quality
Receive information about the schedule and any changes to it
6. ABSENCES AND RECALCULATION
6.1. Annual membership
6.1.1. If a Participant misses a class on their own initiative, no recalculation is made, except in cases of prolonged illness (more than 2 consecutive weeks) upon presentation of a medical certificate.
6.1.2. If a class is cancelled on the Provider's initiative, a recalculation is made or an additional class is provided.
6.2. Subject packages (STEMLab, Family Math Club)
6.2.1. In the event of absence from a subject on the Participant's initiative, the missed subject is counted toward the total of the package, and is not refunded or carried over.
6.2.2. If a subject is cancelled on the Provider's initiative, it is not counted toward the total of the package, and the Participant may attend a replacement subject within the validity period of the package.
6.2.3. The validity period of a package (2 months) is not extended due to the Participant's absence.
7. LIABILITY OF THE PARTIES
7.1. For failure to perform or improper performance of obligations under this Agreement, the Parties bear liability in accordance with the laws of Finland.
7.2. The Provider is not liable for any harm caused to the Participant as a result of the Participant's failure to comply with safety rules and instructions.
8. TERMINATION OF THE AGREEMENT
8.1. The Participant has the right to withdraw from the services at any time, giving the Provider at least 7 days' notice.
8.2. Upon early termination of the Agreement on the Participant's initiative, unused paid classes are not refunded, except in cases provided for by law.
8.3. The Provider has the right to terminate the Agreement unilaterally in the event of systematic breach by the Participant of the terms of this Agreement.
9. FINAL PROVISIONS
9.1. This Agreement enters into force upon acceptance of the offer by the Participant and remains in effect until the Parties have fully performed their obligations.
9.2. All disputes and disagreements are resolved through negotiation, and, failing agreement, in accordance with the laws of Finland.
9.3. The Provider reserves the right to make changes to this Agreement, with mandatory notice to Participants at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
By taking part in classes and/or paying for the services, the Participant confirms that they have read the terms of this Offer Agreement, understand them, and accept them in full.
